Pork Shoulder, which can also be labled as picnic shoulder comes from the thinner, triangle shaped end of the pigs shoulder just above the front leg.  This cut is also know as "boston butt'. It is an inexpensive cut of well markbled meat. Perfetc for roasting, smoking or just making a sandwich.
